remote code list
this has probably been asked loads of times before but i cant find the anwser (prob blind) so...
does anyone know where to find the list of codes to make the new ntl remotes control the tv?

Hold down * and settings for 3 secs until the light flashes twice.
Then enter the code.
Then press OK/Select.
Then try the volume buttons, and try to turn your TV off by pressing * and Power.
If these don't work, follow the process again with another code.

Once you have setup the remote to change a TVs volume, how do you then use it to alter the STB volume? I have tried *+VolUp and #+VolUp but neither appear to work.
Since getting CR3 the volume is quieter and I was wanting to check the STB setting.

err supose if u can remember what code your tv is you could just wipe the remotes memory theres a button sequance but i cant remember it taking the batteries out will prob do the trick
then change the vol and reprogrram the remote
their might be a better way thou i just dunno it!

You can use the left and right arrow buttons on the front of the STB

It only works for Langley customers. I guess you are on the Bromley network.

nope Langly
and the buttons do work cus i can move accross the guide with them.
They wont change the volume though
up/ down changes channel though!
Oh well don't matter as i don't need to change the stb volume at the moment
