Re: 2004/2005 ntl Student Cable Package Offer
I just heard that NTL have stopped the 9 month agreement for students.
Which makes me wonder what will happen to the students who sign up in October.
They will be gone in June, but will still technically be tied to 12 months.
Most will just churn, but will that affect their credit rating?
Or will NTL release them from their contract because they are moving to a different area (eg parents Home)?
or will they charge a break-in contract fee?

Re: 2004/2005 ntl Student Cable Package Offer
I have just signed up for the deal, not a bad offer.... although i did sign up for the 12month contract, which is a little annoying.
It will be interesting to see what i can do when it comes to the summer, and im going home... where i cant get ntl... will i be able to terminate the contract or what... i very much boubt it.

Yes, you will. If, when you come to move out of your student accomodation, you give ntl 30 days notice that you are moving to an off-net location (they may require Post Code, etc.), they will terminate the contract early without penalty.

OK that is faulse advertising. Says "Students" on that picture, but then it's people at uni only? Students is basically high shcool, college, uni etc

It is perfectly valid advertising. It also states you have to be over 18 and is 'available subject to status' within the general T&C.
So be careful before you make sweeping statements like that - on this occasion I am not going to Sue you in the High Court, but only because you mis-spelt "false"
