Outlook - Missing Toolbar

I'm using Outlook 2000 & XP Pro SP2.

Whilst the toolbars on Outlook itself are fine, I can no longer get the 'standard' toolbar to show on e-mails - created or receive - or tasks etc. Whether it's ticked or not, it just won't show!

I've done Outlook 'repair', also done system restore, but to no avail.

Also done full virus check, ad-aware etc.

Any suggestions, please?

I'm thinking this may be some kind of registry entry become corrupt

Many thanks.

Click on view on the top bar, then click toolbars, you'll be able to set Outlook up to your own spec.

Thanks, I can see that.

However, I want to fix why the standard toolbar no longer shows, even when selected. It shows on Outlook itself, but I can not get a standard toolbar on e-mails, tasks etc.

Er, no, it 'should' but it won't. That's the point, something is corrupt, I'm, looking how to reset to original , or with a registry fix for this. Standard toolbar is ticked, but it don't show.

Thanks anyway.

Oh, I have now created my own new Standard type toolbar, just want to find out why the sytem's 'standard' toolbar has gone wrong in first place.

Not many months until next HDD format anyway!

Re: Outlook - Missing Toolbar

Outlook is rather a strange program as it is possible to drag the toolbar out of the main window altogether - is there any sign of the top of the toolbar window appearing just above the task bar. If you minimize Outlook it hides the toolbar window as well so you can only see it with the Outlook window open.
