I'm having the exact same issues as XevilX. I'm in the Belfast region on 512, and I can't work out whether I've been 'upgraded' or not as the speedtest at http://www.dslzoneuk.net/speedtest.php gives me a speed of 85.8 kbps |

I'm in Belfast too. Got the upgrade this morning, then this afternoon things went pear shaped. It's the Belfast cache, i turned on my proxies and all is good. I too was getting about 3kb (sometimes even 0.7k!). Try a proxy for a different area, you'll notice a big difference.

If they were to post all the problems all of the time, they'd have a status page that was 1000 pages long. The email is still playing up, newsgroups still hit and miss (mostly miss), etc, etc, etc. But at least we have faster speeds now. |
