php and dreamweaver mx

i have just set up my spanking new website using a php-nuke portal and various other bits and bobs. however, i want to play around with it some more and tart it up a bit, get rid of some of the bits i dont need and so forth. has anyone any experience of playing with the php files php-nuke generates in dreamweaver, or similar? it is being un-necessarily picky...

i am a total n00b to php so want to start off gently...

I recommend PHPEdit which is free and also helps you by closing tags etc:

Re: php and dreamweaver mx

I have used my own php with dw mx without problems, but haven't tried editing php-nuke files. I'm not sure what you mean by picky, but you do get a load of warnings with dw, if you use non-standard HTML or depreciated features.
