Anyone know how to transfer all my hotmail E-mails to outlook Express 6, so I can store them.
I dont want to forward them as they will all have bits added into them and the formatting will get messed up.
I read you can drag them to a folder in outlook, but it doesnt seem to work for me.
You can actually use outlook express to read your hotmail.
Add a new account using the wizard (Tools/Accounts - click Add/Mail)
At the "E-mail Server Names" window select HTTP and Hotmail as the provider - then add in the address and password.
Once you've done that Outlook will take care of the rest - then if you want to save them permanently, just right click the mail in Outlook and select "move to folder" and pick a folder in your "Local Folders".

Outlook or Outlook Express will certainly do the job, as long as you move them to a local folder out of the hotmail account folder you will always have a copy on your hard drive.
