possibly to give examples of customer service type situations you have been in, i.e. when you have showed a good level of customer service....
they might ask you more simply just about yourself and try and gauge how well you interact with people (since that is what the job will entail)

Here's one I got a few times before:
"Look out of your front window and describe to me what you can see".

Re: telephone interviews..........
And when you speak to them, imagine Avril is there smiling at you - honestly. If you feel happy and warm inside, it'll show through in your voice and that's one of the things they'd be looking for.

she should not be on my mind at that time.
i can do warm and happy anyway, although imagining her would make me freeze in enjoyment, the lady i spoke to on the phone sounded nice so that made my initial responses pleasent, it will be a lady that will contact me again

Re: telephone interviews..........
i think telephone interviews are more to gauge how confident you are using the telephone and responding to questions and all taht. if you stop and stutter and umm and ahh etc etc then they will know straight away you would be a useless CSR (unless you are applying for a job at O2, in which case they would say welcome aboard )

Re: telephone interviews..........
if asked: so why do you think you are suitable for the role in this customer services job ?
my response: well in my experiance of using customer services the consumer needs to well informed and offered services which may cater to the consumers needs, if they are talked to a non provactive manner and understand what they are signing up to the revenue potential for the company is bound to be increased if sufficient services are signed up to by the consumer so as a whole everyone is happy....
what do you thik of that guys/gals ?

Re: telephone interviews..........
Make sure it's quiet - the first Telephone interview I had - there was a bunch of idiots (I was on a job centre course at the time) behind me.
I still got the job - but only because the person on the other end appreciated it when I turned round and told them to shut the F**K up.
Still - All I'm saying is - make sure it's quiet when you're on the phone

Re: telephone interviews..........
If you sound as enthusiastic to them as you did the other week when talking to me then you should have no problem at all.

Don't overdo the 'MBA' talk, i.e. carefull with the 'business' approach, be practical, smile (as said above), do a little research on the company if possible but keep it simple and straight forward, lastly be natural don't try TOO hard, let your own personality come through.
