Erm, there's a device called the "Magna-Ring" which has added magnets that are supposed to increase blood flow...! (Yes, there's iron in blood, but it's not very magnetic!!)
If it did work, woudn't it just trap all the red blood cells in a corner of a vessel?
Reminds me of that scene from X-men 2 - are you saying that wasn't scientifically acurate?
