Shocked and the devil you will find most on these forums know that those who arrive here working for NTL are the best. I hope you will stay and join the community. We do you all really and know its NTL that can't run a buze up in a brewery.

I feel for the lads and lasses dealing with the South Central issues at the moment I do think that the ultimate aim of one system for the whole company is a good one.

I also think such a huge project is bound to have problems and the test of the skill of the company is how quickly it solves these problems and what it does to minimise them.

It is a good idea, but when that system is unreliable, really slow and generally ****e you have a problem!

I've lost count of the number of times the new system goes down, I had a friend say if he found a girl that went down as often as this system, he'd marry her!

And this is the future? Can't wait.....

I worked in south central myself(coventry) before i left woo hoo and can confirm it was horrendous. The new system was bought in to stop us using three systems, but because it was a bit crap, it meant using 4 instead. Personally, i didn't mind using the 3 other systems, i guess i was just used to them, but when the new one came into play, it just made it more difficult.

Thank you for welcoming us, life here in south central is getting most of us down, the management seem to have seriously lost their way. It wouldn't be so bad if they just listened to us once in a while. I was just talking to one of the guys in customer services here, he's losing his flat & desperately needs somewhere to live before the end of march...the manager wouldn't even let him have his dinner a coupla hours later on friday to look at a house & now someone else has took it - seems the company don't give a damn about us.

as long as the stats are ok wot more do they care about? as long as the managers look good in front of the 'big bosses' i mean, my job if i remember correctly when i signed my contract was to be a customer service representative.....which i thought (correct me if i'm wrong) i help people (customers) when they need it?! not wait till they've been on the fone six mins then hurry up with the call so i can get my ccall handling time down.
aaaaaarrrggggghhh!!! this place does my nut in

Is that why I've been billed far less than I should have been?

Not that I'm gonna complain. I only have to pay what I'm invoiced for, so that's I'm going to do.

I agree with Shocked, pay whats on the bill. If they try to amend it later tell them you paid the amount billed & its Ntl's fault not yours. You are very lucky, lotsa people have been billed more.
