Lol - I dont think that will help - It must be that router but why the hell can I get to it. Keyser had a go and he could get to both mine and stew's ????

Hmm, well my apologies to tele-ic-2 because it is not the culprit.

My tcp packets are getting to my server ok - but they are not getting back.

They take a totally different route back to me ;

Pass..... I am still able to access this morning

I cant see why my packets are making it and yours are not.........

I wonder if you have an invalid TTL ???????

I'm using a dialup to my server and it works fine (if you can call 56k to a windows server fine). I really hope this gets sorted out fast.
You still got the prob as well pem?

Yes. The tcp syn packets are getting to the server, and the syn-acks are being sent back - but they seem to get lost somewhere on the return journey - so no connection is established.

How can I get to the server though ????

I am following a nearly identical route to Stew

And that includes the suspected router.
