 | Looks like 15 unknown channels testing on Virgin

Guess that's Sky Sports+ although there is 14 testing on Sky rather than 15 in SD only for now.

Will Discovery/Eurosport not be broadcasting tons of it on a non-exclusive basis?

Eurosport may also broadcast some of the Games in the UK | Though the BBC article makes it sound like it's the only place to watch it.

Warner Bros Discovery have the rights across the UK & Europe.
In Europe, it will be every moment on MAX where available which appears to be replacing Discovery+ as it rolls out across Europe, looks like it will be early 2026 in UK , Germany & Italy.

BBC have a limited sublicensing deal for both Summer and winter Olympics

Suprised Sky/Virgin would develop the Sky Sports new interactive app for V6 TiVo platform.

 | Probably because subscribers are paying so much for the service.

Not only do the Sky+ boxes depend on this, so does the V6 at the moment. As the V6 is still a supported platform it is the only way of maintaining the current service level for Sky Sports customers with these boxes.
