Stopping spam

I have recently started to get a lot of spam through my NTL account - even though it is set to auto delete in webmail.

I set it to keep and find that it is deleting a lot more - but still getting 3-5 a day. It is all from the same place.

How can I get NTL to add them to the block list?

Re: Stopping spam

What place is it from? Personally I would leave the NTL account to flood and get a gmail account.

Re: Stopping spam

I collect my NTL emails into Outlook, and use an add-in called SpamBayes to deal with unwanted messages. Works very well.

I agree with Paul on get a gmail/gogglemail account although i do get alot of spam in that too now, but the gmail filters stop 99.9% of that being directed into my Outlook.

It may not make you feel any better, but 3-5 a day isn't much spam - my mate who runs his own fibre-optic cabling company gets 500-800 per day.

It may be annoying, but count your blessings.
