NTL 10mb Cable Modem problems

Heey people.
Ive read all the new threads and saw that soo many have problems with NTl internet.
Ok i have the same problems aswell, just wanted to tell you that when i used to have 3mbit i never had ANY problems at all. Now i have problems everyday since 3 weeks, i rang them today aswell, they said why the engineer didnt come is because if they see there is an fault in your area they dont come. Ok but the thing is that this is too much now, problems everyday. 3 weeks before i had same problem, internet EXTREMELY SLOW and upload speed completely GONE. Now when i browse through sites IT TAKES ME LIKE 20 SECS, or more. Before it used to take under 1 sec and the site used to come up. Ok but i wanted to ask you any1 else got the same problem?? i live in M32 area in manchester.

Any1 know what the problem is?
