NTL Upload query

Hi all,

Does anyone know if it is possible to upload NTL web files to your own web space via a non NTL ISP?
I know files get uploaded via upload.ntlworld.com, and at home where my ISP is NTL all is ok, but if I try and do this from a diferent ISP say - BT I get a:
connected to upload.ntlworld.com
connection closed by remote host.

Secondly anyone know when the harlow area is to have their NTL upgraded to 4MB?

Yes you are correct, you can only upload to your NTL webspace from an NTL connection.

- no idea about Harlow's upgrade, though, sorry.

has been from an ntl ip address for at least 5 years now as people were using free viring.net accounts to upload porn etc from different isp's so they changed it so that can only get at it from ntl ip address

A friend of mine has web space with tiscali, I created a web page for him, but before I could upload the files, I had to create a PAYG dialup account in order to connect to the tiscali ftp servers. ACCESS DENIED when connected through ntl
