TV Drive, HDMI & Scart

Hi!

OK, so I have a TVDrive - have had it for about 6 weeks now, with varying success - still crashes now & again, especially when navigating the TV schedule.

That aside, I have it connected to the TV via HDMI; I know from previous threads that the RF output and TV Scart are disabled when HDMI is enabled.

However, I have connected a DVD Recorder to the VCR scart, but the picture is awful - best I can describe it is as if it has too many lines to display. My guess is its to do with HDTV, but am I to believe I cannot use the VCR scart too?

I'm using my DVD recorder to provide an RF signal around the house so the present wife can watch Emmerdale etc as she roams the castle - problem is, she's slowly going blind.... .

Anyway, am I missing the point here? As it stands I may well have to beg forgiveness from Mr Murdoch and his cronies up north

Steve

Re: TV Drive, HDMI & Scart

Hi Steve , As far as I was aware the vcr scart was only active when archiving stuff you have saved on the hard drive.
But I have to agree that it is a real pain in the ass that all outputs are dissabled when using HDMI, What a bummer.
