Problems in the ILFORD area ?

Hello,

I am in the postcode:IG2-7DP area and for the past three days and off and on I have been experiencing a very sluggish connection as well as "request timed out" messages too.

Below is a tracert of bbc.co.uk:

When I use the proxy checker tool (http://www.nthellworld.co.uk/home?nav=tools&exec=proxy), it says:

I have used a few of the proxies on the list of NTL proxy servers, yet the problem still persists. I also unplugged the modem last night to see if that would help, but it didn't.

Is there anything else I can do ?

Edit: I am using an 120 Ambit Cable Modem, and subscribing to the 2MB package.
