Telewest Broadband on Windows XP x64 Edition

Hi,

I am encountering numerous problems with installing USB drivers for the Telewest Webstar DPX 100/120 modem on Windows x64. Windows can not find any appropriate drivers on the installation disk and Telewest (being so helpful), will give me no support with this as they do not have the licence for WIndows x64. (although the website says 'we support windows 98 and higher').

Anybody got any suggestions?

Cheers
Chris

I totally agree with you, XP 64 is wicked, but pants on the driver side of things

Re: Telewest Broadband on Windows XP x64 Edition

There is more and more 64 bit drivers out there, but its not common enough platform at the moment for all manufacturers to provide the software/drivers... Poor excuse but life Im afraid....

Most things should be 64 bit in the next 2-3 years...
