Hi my Dad's been having problems with NTL netguard for a few weeks now and has finally contacted customer support about this through ntl medic, what support have basically said is that they have been issueing new IP's and that we have one of the newest batch ones. They are then going onto say that we are protected via them from viruses from emails but they have not yet got the antivirus protection on there server running for things such as web browsing. They suggest we install some antivirus software to protect are self while web browsing. I just wondered whether anyone on here knew about this because quiet honestly it seems wrong that they should be aloud to do this and apparently this happened six weeks ago and not inform us.
It probably means that they need to add an IP range to the Netguard authentication servers, not good from your point of view I know.
There are free AV products out there like AVG and Avast, just do a quick google search. You may actually find that they serve you better than Netguard, or maybe not.
