War of the worlds
Has anybody hear seen or heard anything about the two other versions of this film.
1. Pendragon - accurate to the H.G.Wells book.
2. Asylum - low budget version.
All I can find is region 1 DVDs.
I want UK versions!
thanks

Re: War of the worlds
You could buy the region 1 film and rip a copy and use something like DVDSanta to produce any region you want perhaps?
The Gene Barry (1953) version was the cause of many nightmares whn I was younger....

Re: War of the worlds
The pendragon one is apparently true to the book, and true to the tree the book was made from.
The acting is more wooden than the Ents in Lord of the Rings.

Re: War of the worlds
The old film was great
I must be sadistic, but I laughed at the bit when the priest walks upto the machine preaching from the bible, then gets roasted.
