"Last update" webpage tool....

Have had this a while.... and we use it at work a lot, since we need to be aware of the 'currency' of the information we access via the Internet on a daily basis....
It's a piece of javascript that you paste into the address bar of the website/page that you're browsing and it lets you know the last date it was updated.
Some sites announce quite proudly the date of their update but others do not.
If you need to know how current the information is on a particular page then it can be helpful to use:


javascript:alert(document.lastModified)


Obviously it doesn't tell you what's been updated or changed, so use with caution

Just thought i'd add something that people might find useful and justify my existence here.... instead of my usual verbal faffing
