My cable seems to be a bit faulty (think it's been twisted too much) and I need to get a replacement. Ntl's shop version is £9.29 and I wondered if anyone knew of a suitable equivalent.

Ethernet cable is standard and easy to get hold of, you don't need to get it from ntl. You should be able to get a range of lengths from most computing/electronics shops, including Maplins, PC World, Dixons and independants.
