Streaming recorded tv from PC to TV
Hi I got a MCE2005 which has a wireless receiver connected to it to receive live tv from my tv set. I want to use my pc to record tv and then stream it back to my tv set once it is recorded any idea how this can be done? I have a dvd player, xbox, and video machine and ideas?

Re: Streaming recorded tv from PC to TV
um i would prefer to record on HD and then stream to tv.
1. Video tapes are so last year and take up space and the machien takes up space and the quality is not all that.
I have a dvd burner but as you can imagine watching your weekly recordings on dvd would soon build up to a huge amount of dvds and of coarse the cost of buyign the dvds.
Well it doesn't help you but I just bought a dvd recorder with a hard drive and that has sorted all my recording probs out
And my pc has a freeview card so i can record from that as well if I need to

why don't you just watch the recordings on your pc?
I know that you are unlikely to have a monitor to match a TV for display size, but the quality of a monitor can often offset that - I watch DVD/VHS/TV & recorded mpeg/divx/avi on a 17" LCD 'widescreen' monitor & find it is fine - you just have to sit closer to the screen
