quicktime - firefox issues

i have quicktime (actually, it came in that stupid itunes pack, i hate itunes and dont want it on my machine, but whatever) and i use firefox, as of recently, i can't view anything on a web page that requires quicktime for some reason, FF says i need additional plug-ins, says i need quicktime and it can't install it from FF for some reason but i have quicktime on my machine and it's running so i don't know why it's not working, any help? thanks!

Re: quicktime - firefox issues

I've had the same issue myself, I tried reinstalling quicktime with the latest version and it solved it.

THE answer to all your problems - the K-Lite codec pack.
