Thunderbird

Hello,

I've been using Thunderbird for newsgroups (normally use Outlook Express) but thought I'd give Thunderbird a try!

One annoying thing I can't find an answer for...

In Outlook all messages a threaded together - and you just click the plus symbol to view responses...

In Thunderbird, all messages and replies and individual messages - no threads to speak of....

Any way of grouping them together??

Re: Thunderbird

Does Thunderbird still lack the ability to decode multi-part binaries? That was the main thing that put me off it for newsgroups.

Also, now so many files are Yenc encoded & Outlook Express doesn't decode those, natively, I tend to use Xnews for news groups & save the mail apps just for mail.

Not only that, but for some reason a lot of attachments sent via outlook (or other email clients) end up as winmail.dat files which you have to decode manually to get at the contents
