Why can't electronics manufacturer's recognise that boxes need to be properly rectangular so we can stack them all.
Getting the games console, DVD, STB, VCR, scart extender, etc packed in around the TV is becoming an impossibility.

I suppose it does stop people putting other bits of kit on top of it if it has a curved top.
It's not bad I suppose. Would look good in a glass stand next to an Xbox 360 under a whopping great LCD panel.

Possibly this is exactly their reasoning. Not only is the top curved, the buttons are on the top too. Thefore it has to sit on the top of any stack. Clever marketing, perhaps?
I actually quite like the look of it!

I think the Sky HD box has something on the top of it as well to ensure that it has to be top of the stack for any hardware.

With the amount of equipment these days that has ventilation in the top this is completely useless.
