Cancellation query

morning guys

i recently stumbled across this excellent forum and was hoping that someone out there can help me out.

i had ntl installed a month ago (and what a saga that was!!) when i moved into a block of flats after having been misinformed by a former resident that i couldn't have sky. having attended an agm last night it transpires that i can indeed have sky installed, something that i want to do as will allow me to get the best out of my newly purchased AV equipment aswell as have access to sky+.

what i wanted to know is whether there is anyway i can cancel my ntl subscription without having to incur an exorbitant exit fee.

many thanks for your help

mitul

Re: Cancellation query

Doubt it, you take out a 12 month contract with NTL when you sign up. I don't know for sure if there is a cooling off period though but if you have already been installed a month then you may be out of luck already.

Re: Cancellation query

Contact NTL and ask them, they may be able to help but if you are already 1 month in on your contract you might be out of luck Did you get a contract to sign or look at?

Re: Cancellation query

result!!!
just spoke to an extremely helpful guy at ntl who has cancelled my cable subject to 30 days notice.
not only that he actually prompted me towards a better call plan on my telephone too.
have read some horror stories on here re service levels but i couldnt be happier with the service i've just received.
