Christmas Message from ntl

Quote:
Dear everyone,

With the Christmas and New Year festivities fast approaching, I thought it would be helpful to write with an update of our call centre opening hours during the festive period.

2005 has been another very exciting year at ntl with a raft of major product developments such as the launch of 10Mb broadband speeds, free kids TV for Christmas which has gone down a storm with customers and our internet anti-spam measures which again have been well received by users.

Our staff have also been busy this year helping others less fortunate than themselves and raising thousands of pounds for good causes like Children in Need and Red Nose Day. Some staff at our customer contact centres have also been doing their bit for their local community and have been involved in helping school leavers get onto the career ladder. Staff have been visiting local schools and coaching pupils on what its like to work in a call centre and giving them handy tips on interview techniques and CV preparation.

2005 has been also been a busy year for staff Awards including Christopher Stanny at our Swansea contact centre who won Most Promising Newcomer of the Year at the West Wales Association of Contact Centre Awards. Our Scottish call centre recruitment team also picked up the Award for Best Innovation of the Year at the 2005 Scottish Recruitment Advertising Awards.

Looking forward and 2006 looks equally as exciting with further enhancements planned for our On Demand and DTV service such as the launch of our HD compatible PVR.

Itâ₠¬ÃƒÂ¢Ã¢â‚¬Å¾Ã‚¢s been great working with Cable Forum over the past months. You've given us lots to think about and we do appreciate the time you take out to give us your views and comments. I hope we will be able to work closer together next year and in the meantime would wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a Happy 2006.
