Freeview pacific tuning problem!

Dear All,

Every time I switch the freeview box on it asks me to retune which takes several minutes. Can anybody tell me what I am doing wrong?

Re: Freeview specific tuning problem!

Dear Paul & Zinglebarb,

It seems by switching of the box and disconnecting the thing, and reconnecting, it reset itself!

I am hopeless with anything technical and I really appreciate your kind interest.

Many thanks,

kip

Re: Freeview specific tuning problem!

Kip , i have just installed freeview in my sons bed room, when i first installed it i turned it off at the mains to go down the town, when i came back i turned it back on and the menu came back on the screen for first time instalation so i had to re install, But this time i left the box on standby for 24hours then turned it off at the mains and now when its turned back on it has stored the channels and we dont have to retune, so i dont know if that is what your ment to do but it worked for us. Its worth giveing it a go.
