Ntl Business 1.5mb
Hi All im relateively new to this site, but I was wondering if any of you knew if the 1.5mb cable modem business service from ntl would be recieving any kind of upgrade to 3mb or even 10mb anytime in the near future?? Possibly someone from NTL could shed some light on this subject for me as I feel business users are getting left behind in the dust with the 1.5mb service whilst home users are getting upgraded to 10mb ?? Any answers please!

Nope, i've asked my partner if I can string some cat 5 back to Teesside, she's none to crazy about the thought of 90 miles hanging out the back window.

Hacks me right off all these people on upto 10meg complaining about 7-8meg.
Max 2 mb at home and max 512k at work 
Oh and 15gb cap

yeh that is bad, even though im complaining about 1.5 i dont think they should be complaining about 7 or 8 as it is "up-to" 10mb anyways

Well my friend pays almost £100 a month for 2mbit adsl office 20:1 and is very happy with his service, no cap to worry about and never ever lags or slows down.

Heh I got no problem with say 7-8 meg as you state, but if I cannot stream a 256kbit clip and download at sub 1mbit speeds, then how does that make it better then a reliable 2mbit connection?

Re the original question we still have an NTL business BB connection. I pestered our sales rep the other day and he told there would be an upgrade to the BB speeds soon for business. He told me it would come in Feb, whilst someone else had previously told me last August but then revised that to Jan 2006. We'll have to wait an see.

Did they give you any idea of what the speeds would be moving to, im presuming 10mb.
