RJ45 cable

I want to shorten the cable between the modem and my computer as the cable supplied by ntl goes around a 14ftx16ft room twice.
where would i be able to get say a 2mtr cable and what type would it have to be ,ie crossover or non crossover.

Re: RJ45 cable

Any decent high street computer shop can seel you the ehternet cable you need.

You'll probably only need a standard, straight through cable. If a crossover is required, usually only for some Set Tob Boxes, this is normally done by ntl using an adaptor plugged into one end of the cable.
