You should ideally remove any software from it unless you are going to provide the buyer with the licenses.

I'd say you're about right with that price. I was going to suggest 250-300 ish.

Re: how much should i offer for this computer?
XP2200 now I aint seen one of these for ages so this pc is a few years old.
The tower is worth about 200 quid tops the speakers £10 and the monitor £25 the printer is worthless imo.
I would bet £10 the softwares "cough" and should not be included in the price or advert

Re: how much should i offer for this computer?
I'd agree... count yourself lucky if you get £300. Zing pretty much summed it up, the components are all dated now - with the exception of the DVD writer.
Personally, I'd ebay it or sell it in your local paper, in the hope that someone who doesn't know the real value of it will pay your asking price.

Offer the seller £200 then haggle up if he wont agree, then with what you save you could get a faster cpu

Re: how much should i offer for this computer?
I think you could manage a maximum of £300 but more realistically £200-£250

Re: how much should i offer for this computer?
175 absoulte minimum, 275 tops - looks a bit outdated already - none of the kit is worth an awful lot.

Re: how much should i offer for this computer?
£300, tops - I'd expect £250 if it's around a year old. Should be able to buy it new for ~£400.

Re: how much should i offer for this computer?
I'm confused :'s
If you're buying, offer £200.
If you're selling, try £300.
