Is rapping a mental illness?
HMP Birminghan inmates release prison cell rap music on YouTube.
Demehl Thomas and Moysha Shepherd reportedly used illegal mobile phone to record rap in HMP Birmingham
He appears with Shepherd, also known as Big Stygs, in the clip which has been viewed 10,000 times.
During the rap Thomas says: “I wanna mansion and I want my kids to live good.
“I don’t want to get locked up or killed in the hood.”
The 25-year-old goes on to threaten to ‘blast heads’ adding he has no time for ‘fake ho’s’.
A second mobile phone can be seen charging on the table during the video, as the pair perform wearing black tank tops.
Bent screws.

Re: Is rapping a mental illness?
Mental health comes in many forms. it's about the state of mind and how it works.
there's no reason why rapping isn't a form of this.
mental / health / mind / illness.
trust me. I'm a psychologist.

At the very least they would lose their job. If they do end up being charged and in prison, they would spend the whole duration of their stay in serious danger. Think I'm joking? I have a friend who is a prison officer, and he said that the prison service advise officers that if he met anyone and they asked what job he did, that he should say he is a civil servant and not say any more. The reason being that prisoners have family and friends, and he could be risking serious injury (or death) by telling people he doesn't really know that he is a prison officer.
I think it's likely the mobile was taken in another way. You'd be surprised how inventive prisoners' families and friends are in finding ways to get things into prison. In fact, I suspect that if some of them showed half as much ingenuity in keeping their friends/family out of prison as they do in getting stuff into them, the world would be a better place.

Having spoken to a friend who *is* a prison officer, I think it's likely the mobile was taken in another way. You'd be surprised how inventive prisoners' families and friends are in finding ways to get things into prison.
