Question about:config in Firefox

Looking for something in about:config in Firefox, I noticed a reference to an extension that I uninstalled a few months ago. There is no obvious way to remove, i.e a delete option in the right-click menu. So does anyone know how I can remove it?

Re: about:config in Firefox

I tend to do an uninstall and reinstall for each major version... provided you've not got loads of customisations I would just do that.

Copying bookmarks over is fairly straight forward, give me a shout if you try it.

I tend to keep my profile when I uninstall/reinstall, as I can't be @rsed to install the extensions again, as I have a lot of them.

It's not a problem, it's just that I am the type of person who likes to remove all traces, if I am not going to be using it again

Re: about:config in Firefox

According to this article http://kb.mozillazine.org/About:config if you right click the entry and select "reset" it will no longer be there on restart.

Regards.

(just tried the link and there is an error, see if the link works anyway)

Well, what you said about the reset worked. Thanks for that
