munch munch munch

it's almost a dot com boom at the moment in the broadband sector with sky talking about splashing loads of dosh on a telecoms company and this lot taking over freedom2surf.

Agreed. The smart money is on Easynet to become part of the Murdoch Empire. This would make sense as they already have a substantial amount of their own kit in BT exchanges and are (through their UK Online brand) pretty much out in front in terms of 8mbps plus speeds on DSL.

Pipex is a good second choice, but I'd bet Easynet is the one.

Re: Pipex eats freedom2surf

"Triple play" still makes me chuckle. It actually sounds exactly like what some marketing tw*t (not all marketing people are tw*ts, just a select few) would come out with.

It has nothing on "digital quality sound" though.

Re: Pipex eats freedom2surf

well it turns out a good way to keep current customers from leaving as people like the conveniance of having everything of one provider. Just look at the size of ntl's current customer base as a result of triple play.

NTL's prob bigger because it was cheaper to start with, more ppl without phone lines would get them, from NTL. also mayne they made there self more widely available
