VOIP / Caller ID. Only apart number

Hi all

I have recently sent up Freetalk and use an NTL phone with caller ID.

On the normal ntl line it showed the full number ie 01235 123456

On VOIP it only shows 44 1235 1 any idea why and how if possible I can change this ?

Many thanks for your time.

Mike

Dunno, but the 44 is the country code for the UK and it's dropped the leading zero of the area code which is correct on international calls.

So it looks like it's showing two fields i.e. country-code area-code. What you need is for it to skip the country code and hopefully that will fix it. Check for settings in the VOIP software.
