Help please with a driver hunt

Hiya all

I have a new pc here which has a Albatron motherboard, now I have got the Ati Radeon 9000 drivers on it working, but I wish to install the sound/usb and other motherboard drivers. It is on Windows Xp Pro sp1.

Everest report on the motherboard says

Quote:
Motherboard Name Albatron
KX400+/KX400+ Pro/KX400+ Pro-C (6 PCI, 1 AGP, 1 CNR, 3 DDR DIMM, Audio)
Motherboard Chipset VIA VT8367 Apollo
On there site I only find the k7 and k8 I am sure a Athlon Xp Socket A is not a k7 right?

Totally baffled any help be great.

Re: Help please with a driver hunt

ON another note I connect my internet via Ethernet using a crossover ethernet lead, I have run network setup on both computers, now the new on sees the internet and will run to various pages then stops.

I have tried a few proxy's to no avail.

Re: Help please with a driver hunt

Looks like it's this, go to http://www.albatron.com.tw/english/i....asp?pro_id=78 & download the drivers from there.

When you got the PC if you bought it new the required driver disc should have come with it. If not if you know the manufacturer of the items you need the drivers for your best bet is to go to www.driverguide.com see if they can help. other thanthat your best bet is to look up the mother board online and try that way, or phone the company you bought it off etc and get them to send you a disc out.

Re: Help please with a driver hunt

Thankyou all we now have it online with sound and running stable, the usb problem seems to be from 3rd party usb ports on front and rear, seeing as we are planning on a usb hub for both pc's this is not a problem.

Green reps to all for you help.

Thankyou all.
