As it's run under franchise by TJ Jones whose shop is closing, the Post Office will need to find someone else to take on the franchise. By law, they'll need to advertise the opportunity, then make a decision, perform due diligence, etc.
So the Post Office may well be viable but there's a regulated process to appoint a new franchisor which means a frustrating gap for you.
