Re: Dave HD Multiplex
121, 125 and 176 for a start.
But either way you need to report it to VM.

Re: Dave HD Multiplex
Virgin guy came and checked the connector to the tv box straight away and saw, as i did, exposed outer foil fowling the inner connector.
He said thats it.
I did not check this or other techs, not that i would have noticed it.
He is a quality control connector specialist he said.
I have moved the box a few times and this would explain why it has been effecting different channels as the cable shield moves the frequency out of spec each time.
The final connector cable was a cable to coaxial too, which he changed out.
Main connector was swapped out.
Signals were in green.
Fingers crossed.

Re: Dave HD Multiplex
Well that did not work.
Got same issue, so went online and test showed issues and allowed me to book another call out for Saturday am.
This guy straight away noticed too many attenuators etc, after i told him previous works.
So he went to cabinet and noticed i was on top with too strong signal for short distance to house with too thick long run cable. Changed to lower part of cabinet with weaker signal.
Then there was an outside attenuator taken off.
Then the inside wall socket got swapped out followed by i think spitter and two other attenuators.
All this was causing signal to bounce around, plus failing parts that were probably 10 years old. Plus i have been on the strong signal thick short distance cable for 20 years.
Now lets see.

Re: Dave HD/More 4 Multiplex
It has been addressed now, unless more parts are needed.
I assume the feeds come in from the broadcast feeds and then get distributed around the network.
Thus some areas get a loss of signal.

Re: Dave HD Multiplex
Virgin have been trying to fix the issue again today.
I saw them in a couple of cabinets near me, so i checked my picture and i couldn’t see it breaking up this time.
So many attempts and false alarms recently that it was fixed.
