Set your password to the PIN ?
After all, a PIN is just a numeric only password.

1. Go to Start > Settings > Accounts > Sign-in options.
2. Select Windows Hello PIN on the left.
3. Click the Add button to create a new PIN for your account, or the Change button to modify you PIN.

unless you know what you are doing windows 11 tends to need a email log in account you would want a more secure password for that unless you just set up a spoof email account just for windows log in. I use the Windows Hello pin for ease. I am surprised Ken has not had the option to set this up rammed down his throat by windows because it is one of its many nag screens

Re: How can I get windows 11 use a pin rather than a password
Probably not very relevant but numeric only password is very much easier to hack than alphanumeric or even just numeric given same length and not using easy to guess values.
A PIN in addition to password gives more options to login and the PIN isn't used quite in the same way. If the PIN fails you can use the local password to re-establish the connection.
