The Rig
On Prime,
Starring several "Line of Duty" alumni, don't know if it's made by the same people.
Watched the first two, not very impressed. Very slow, very shoddy effects.
It has a good premise, but I don't see them pulling it off. I'll persevere for a couple of more eps.

Re: The Rig
I watched it all over the weekend I was hoping for more, I can't even remember how it ended now!

Re: The Rig
We’ve only watched the first episode so far. Enjoyed it, interested to see what happens next.
However the entire technical department should be taken out and shot. I get that budget means they’re never actually going to be able to shoot it on an actual rig but there has been very little attempt made to make it look like it wasn’t shot in a studio. The lighting and sound design is awful and they seem to have employed a small hairdryer to try to make it look windy.

Re: The Rig
We tend not to binge stuff and are 2 eps in. So far so very good, and they have definitely addressed some of the weaker aspects of production design that affected the last series. I think the budget may have gone up a bit.

Re: The Rig
Second season is a big improvement as we see landside as well. CGI is very good too. And THE Borg queen is great too lol

Re: The Rig
Oh, I bailed season one. Couldn’t get beyond the terrible effects and production.

Just pretend you’re watching classic era Dr Who. It’s worth it, the story is decent enough and season 2 is so much better it would be a shame to miss it.
