The Christmas Number 1 spot is no longer of any interest.
Its always some crappy "charity" song these days, and before that it was some crappy X-Factor song.
Back in the day waiting for the annoucement of the Christmas number one was a big deal, and one of the musical highlights of the year. I think this finally stopped being a thing when the winners of the current ITV talent show would become the Christmas number one.
