Amazon Firestick 4K issue

Anyone have one of these. I've just got one and after putting to sleep (by holding down the home button and selecting sleep) when turning off it doesn't want to power up again at next use. I've got CEC enabled and also enabled IR support but I have to power cycle it to wake it up each time I turn the tv on.

Re: Amazon Firestick 4K issue

are you powering it from its adapter or USB on the TV ? I never put mine to sleep just let it do it itself and it just turns on when I turn the TV on with the remote

Powered from its USB mains adapter so not a power issue. I think I'll try as you say and simply leave it as it is when I turn the tv off. Thanks
