Ultimate Oomph not available?

Hello
Hope you are all OK! I was recommending the Ultimate Oomph bundle to a friend (except the silly name). It doesn't appear to be available now on Virgin's website - are they no longer offering it?

Re: Ultimate Oomph not available?

When I type in my address without logging in it says "Go even faster with 516Mbps average download speeds, exclusive to the Ultimate Oomph bundle"

It's not showing on the home page, however it's available at £99 by that link, but with a caveat. "To help protect you and our technicians, we won't be installing extra TV boxes until things are back to normal. We'll be adding a £7.50 monthly credit until we can install your extra TV box." There's another caveat on that page, "This bundle's sports channels aren't airing live sport. If you choose to buy now, you won't be able to pause your subscription"

This is due to the Corona Virus as "Where it’s possible, we’ll send you a self-install QuickStart pack which means there’s no need for someone to visit your home. This service is currently available at no extra cost"

And this is also on the page:

The Sports pause is only for people who agreed a contract before the reduction in Sports content. Take it out now and you're agreeing to the current offering.

Re: Ultimate Oomph not available?

Interesting, thanks all for the speedy replies! Yeah I guess they are not overtly advertising it given the fact you will not get much value from sports etc.

In terms of a discount for existing contracts due to sports content not being available, what have people been offered?

ah seen the other thread so have paused mine!

Re: Ultimate Oomph not available?

You can pause your BT and SkySports subscriptions here https://www.virginmedia.com/help/thi...ing/talk-to-us

Once applied there will be a monthly £27 credit for SkySports and a £9.25 credit for BT Sports until they start broadcasting live sport again. The channels are still viewable whilst paused. The credits do not affect any current package discounts or the remainder of your contract length.
