The UK Independence party said on Tuesday that it had averted imminent bankruptcy, after raising around £370,000 to pay for a failed libel battle and its own running costs.
In a bid for stability, the anti-EU group is also set to delay its fourth leadership election in two years and keep interim leader Gerard Batten in charge, two senior party figures told the FT.

I can't access the link, but i'm sure a spokesman said that this wouldn't affect the actual party anyway as the body being sued was a company.

Seems odd to use the money raised to pay the person taking legal action when they could have simply let it go bankrupt and set up a new company.

UKIP have done their job that is for sure but as for the future l would say it won't be long before they go the way of the Dodo.
