Sound Bar Recommendations
Can anyone here recommend a half decent Sound Bar for under £100?
I don't need anything loud and deafening just something that gives films and tv a bit more omf.

Re: Sound Bar Recommendations
Anker Soundcore. £30. Good sound quality.
EDIT: That's actually a Bluetooth speaker. Probably not what you were looking for...

Re: Sound Bar Recommendations
Don't right off a sound stage, like a sound bar but bigger and TV sits on it.

Re: Sound Bar Recommendations
It really depends on the set. We found with the Sony that the midrange was readily handled by the TV's internal speakers and what was really needed was a sub-woofer together with some tweaking on the graphic equiliser.

Re: Sound Bar Recommendations
For that price you'd probably be best biding your time and keeping an eye on the likes of hotukdeals.com, or waiting for Amazon Warehouse deals to do the 20% off at checkout thing they do every 2 or 3 months.
Alternatively buy a cheap second hand amp, even just with a front 3.1 it will sound better than any soundbar at that price range. I bought an old Pioneer VSX 321 for £70 and some speakers for £50 on ebay for example.

Re: Sound Bar Recommendations
I connect my Sound stage to the TV via an optical cable.
This powers up when the TV turned on.
Both are Samsung.
