Question Replacing the broadband box...

I'm a long time Virgin customer and have recently moved house and entered into a new agreement with them for my new property.

I've opted for the 'Quick Start' and receive my equipment in a few days. At present my new house has an old Telewest box in it which will obviously (well, hopefully) do the job for the Super Hub. My question is...

Is there any option for me in changing the Telewest box to something more aesthetically pleasing? I've gone for polished chrome in the house replacing phone/aerial/electric sockets, lights, etc however when I walk down my stairs, all I see is the unsightly off white, hunk of a Telewest box screaming at me! I don't expect the chrome effect but something a little smaller and less 'in your face' (and not tainted by age) would be nice.

Probably a long shot but I'm guessing I'm not the only anal member of this Forum

Re: Replacing the broadband box...

Wait for the new equipment, it will either be a shiny black SH2 or an off white SH3 depending on which service you've gone for.

Re: Replacing the broadband box...

Thanks for the replies - the Quick Start is such that the Super Hub will just plug into an old box regardless of age (I believe) so there's no need for a visit from an engineer to replace any existing sockets. I'll post a pic up of the 'offending' item tomorrow - again, thanks for the responses.
