email from Virgin Media

I had an email today from Virgin Media asking me to Update my profile.
I think it is a Scam by the way it is worded.
Can any one here Verify that it is a scam or true.



Looks like I can't insert the Photo..

This is what it says---
Important updates to your Virgin Media account

We are in the process of improving Virgin Media. To keep our information safe, an important database upgrade has been completed. We request all members to take part in this process. You are required to update your profile until 10 January 2016. Members who fail to take part in this process and do not update their profiles until the limit date will have their service disconnected.

The last line is the one that is concerning me. It has to be a scam surely. How many people will fall for this one.
