Seems to be paypal scam season
Honest to God, I must have had upwards of 20 'paypal has noticed' & 'your paypal service is limited' type of emails in the two or three days grrrrrrrrrrrr.
Some are quite convincing too.

Re: Seems to be paypal scam season
It's supposed Whatsapp missed calls and Google delayed emails for me.

Re: Seems to be paypal scam season
I get the Whatsapp ones, never even used it before. Other than that just the usual Nigerian or beneficiary nonsense. Luckily gmail is pretty good at chucking it all where it belongs.
I did have one in my main inbox the other day claiming to be from Amazon that i actually believed though. If i wasn't in the habit of checking manually i might have fell for that one.

Re: Seems to be paypal scam season
Yes when I've seen more plausible ones I log in the regular way to check rather than the kindly ways included in the e-mail 'for your convenience' ...
I have had to ban the wife from doing more than telling me about e-mails though, after I caught her *almost* falling foul of one particularly sneaky one a while back though.

Re: Seems to be paypal scam season
Scam 'delayed Google email' messages sent to non Google accounts are unlikely to fool many people I'd have thought.

Re: Seems to be paypal scam season
I've had one with my full name.
don't Paypal say something like you'll know it's from us because we'll use your full name?

Re: Seems to be paypal scam season
No. Only things like 'Dear Customer' etc, if they have your full name, you've given it out somewhere and should be concerned about PERSEC online.
