For the record I upgraded my TV services and had problems with the new channels not activating, I was told by VM tech support that my TiVo box was running a virtual Smartcard from the 30th June so the physical card is now redundant, looks like that this update seems to be slowed the updating of my new channels by about 8 hours!
Luton is one of two areas which are trialling cardless TiVo.
Trust my luck I went through one VM CS, 2 tech supports and until I got to 2nd line support there was not mention of this trial. Had to laugh they just about to hang up after booking an engineer as a precaution and the channels came up like magic
