Question Virgin Media Cloud Closing Down ?

Just got this email from F-Secure

Dear Customer,

Younited by F-Secure will be discontinued on October 1, 2015.

We are sorry to inform you that we are shutting down our personal cloud storage service on October 1, 2015. We are refocusing our product portfolio, and younited by F-Secure will not be developed further.

Younited by F-Secure and younited events by F-Secure will no longer be available after October 1, 2015.

Does virgin media cloud run off of Younited if so will it be shutting down too.

Re: Virgin Media Cloud Closing Down ?

There is no impact as far as I'm aware

F-Secure have sold their Cloud platform http://phx.corporate-ir.net/phoenix....cle&ID=2013331 so that's why they're closing their version of it.

However the above press release does seem to say that part of the purchase was the customer base for the platform - which would include VM

Synchronoss will now service over 75 Mobile Operators, including nine Tier One Global Providers. These Mobile Operators will offer Synchronoss direct access to over 3.5 Billion subscribers around the world for its personal cloud platform.
